Parent-Child: Conflict, rebellion, lack of discipline, confusion, and anxiety, etc. mar the peace and orderly happy relationships that should reign in the family.
The idea is still that all should come to a knowledge of the truth, be saved, empowered for life , and grow in the fullness of Christ. This requires discipline of self and sumitting of oneself to the others. In the case of children, the submission is first to the parents in the Lord. Always, one is to honor and prefer the other above self (Eph. 5and 6).
