To Praise is to show honor and respect to God. It means to "salute" Him.

When honor and respect is given, honor and respect will be recieved. When one ministers to God by praising Him(Heb.13:15), God will minister in return(Sam.2:30). Most important is that He is enthroned in our praises(Psa. 22:3).
